Well after a couple weeks of searching and not being able to find what I was looking for, it looks like I am ordering one to my own specs tomorrow.
It'll be a F250 6.7L CCLB Magnetic 4X4 SRW XLT Value package with:
Sync 3
Carpet delete
Floor mats
spray in bedliner
wheel well liners
defrost rear window
FX4
Stowable bed extender
Box lighting
Roof lights
Remote start
EHD Alternator
Upfitter switches
Platform boards
5th wheel prep
My only question is if I should order Snow plow prep/camper package for the factory "level" or no? Does having this add-ons actually increase payload capacity at all?
I already have all the accessories priced and ready to order.. the 8-10 week wait is going to be brutal..
I see you have the fifth wheel prep. If you plan on towing a fifth wheel with a 6.7 crew 4x4 long bed, you'd better get the F350. The truck you specified will weigh around 7900#; with the F250's 10k GVWR, you'll have only about 2100# for you, passengers, fifth wheel hitch, tonneau cover, gear, and trailer pin (20% of its GVWR).
Consider this example. 400# of people, 50# tonneau, 50# of gear, 150# hitch, leaves 1450# for the pin. A tiny 8k GVWR fifth wheel camper would exceed your payload in this example!
I never thought about it that way, one ton wasn’t really on the list as it can be a hassle here with them. They have to be registered commercially and you can get a pardon from the scales but they still have to be inspected annually (as opposed to residential where you only need an inspection when getting it registered and again if you ever transfer it to someone else). It was only a if I ever wanted to use one type deal, we have a tandem with a tag for anything bigger than our tow behind trailer can’t handle. So I may not get it at all, by the looks of it wouldn’t be worth my while too.
Just a thought have you considered the same truck in XL with STX? You would have the same truck with the exception being a power drivers seat. Just a thought because you selected XLT value package.
I ordered mine as well. The wait seemed like an eternity. The whole time I was on this site second guessing myself. maybe I should have ordered this versus that kinda thing. But after 8 weeks it was here and all doubts went out the window. its exactly what I wanted.
you must be confused or misinformed. your factory level wont be anywhere near level. youll have minimun 2in rake
I am aware, that is why I said "level." Could've caled it spacers I suppose.. I know it wont truly be level but it seems unlike most people I actually like some rake on a truck. I'll likely end up getting a 2" level with fox shocks down the road all the same.
You asks about the camper package/ snow plow prep, and increased payload. No option you add to a 250 increases payload (The option would have to be lighter than the 'standard equipment'). GVWR is capped at 10,000. The truck will weight between 7,000 and 8,000. Whatever is left over is payload.

If you order a F250 with the High Capacity Trailer Tow package, you effectively have a F350 with F250 badges; same rear axle, wheels and overloads but slightly different spring pack. Your GVWR on the door jamb sticker will still be 10,000 pounds but the mechanical capability of the truck will be virtually the same as a F350 with the 11,5000 pound GVWR. The price of a F250 with the HCTTP is also just about the same as a F350. I assume that Ford created the package for customers looking to buy a very capable class 2 truck while avoiding the expense and hassle that can come along with owning a class 3 truck depending on where you live.
I am looking to order a 2019 F-350 myself soon. Thankfully my domicle (I’m a full time RVer) is in Texas. Just called the tax office based on some of the comments herein. No special licensing or inspection requirements and no commercial vehicle designation. She said, “That’s just a regular truck.” However I know that the license fees are higher for a F-350 than a F-250, a whopping $56/year or $110 versus $54. No problemo IMHO for the higher capacity.

That is what I ended up going with! Now just to play the waiting game.. Pretty sure by the time it shows up I'll have every part I've thought about buying already here haha

I ordered my first parts the day before my order was submitted!
Make sure you get the uplifter switches and power sliding rear window.
The uplifter switches just just make add-one super easy and the power sliding window is the best feature.
Got the switches but just went with defrost rear window, I had power sliding on my F-150 pictured above but might have used it twice since I got the truck in 2014. I will also be installing a deezee headache rack so the window is covered up anyway
I ordered my first parts the day before my order was submitted!
The list is fairly long already sad to say.. For day of arrival:
Deezee textured black mesh headache rack
Deezee Tidy tank/toolbox shallow combo
Deezee heavy rubber bed mat
Duraseries LED head/fog light replacements
Hyperseries Led bar for bumper and pods for rack lights
FIA neoprene seat covers
Possible company tailgate wrap
Tuffskin letter inserts
Vinyl to color match the bumpers and grill
plus trim front air dam (snow catch in our parts), install company radio (gotta do some research on a minimal faceplate to install up front)
To get in future:
Sound system upgrade with harness to Sync3
20" Wheels to fit my 35x13 Duratracs I took off the F150
2" fox shock level
Heated Raptor steering wheel
Possible leather upholstery job
Anzo LED headlights
and I have a feeling that will not end the longer I cruise this forum..
