Was cleaning up the rockers and push rods on 351m in preparation for a new Edelbrock intake and carb and noticed what looks like a hole in one of the the push rods. Its the about the size of a paper clip. I actually tried to push a paper clip into it but couldn't so it doesn't appear there any depth to the hole. Should I replace it anyway? And if so, should I just replace all of them?
I think they used to be used for Id, one end may be hardened. Roller cam 5.0's have them to identify the hardened end so you get the dot to the rocker arm. Could be wrong but what I've done.
