they usually dont fail and are a junkyard item if they do for some reason. What happened to yours and do you have any junk yards available?

i wouldnt say they failed but maybe have become weak after 18 years and 150 k miles there is a notiable sag on the drivers side and even after 2 turns on the adjusting/preload screw theres no difference - also we do have used parts yards its just not some thing i would want to use kind of an unknown i would rather go new with some thing like this - from what ive found so far ford did make t-bars in a few sizes/tensions just not to sure what would fit even from an explorer - if i can find a parts cross reference chart or some thing to that effect - i have found some part #s that im going to look into as my search continues...

Try for a part #: F67Z-5B326-FA (Right side), F67Z-5B326-FB (Left side)

I did an internet search using that part #, and I followed a few of the links, and input the make/model/year of my Ranger, they all came back as a fit...

You might want to contact the vendors directly to be certain.
