Upgraded Sound System
I put these in the front. JL Audio 690TX , these in the rear JL Audio 650X and this one in the center dash Dayton Audio PS95-8
Very happy with the output now compared to the stock "premier" sony system. The install was simple, just popped off the door panels and replaced the speakers, I used adapters to mount the new ones and metra wire adapters that plugged into the factory harness.

Looking for a good upgrade for my stock, non-Sony, no amp, 7-speaker, 4.2" screen w/ Sirius CCSB system.
Any idea what the stock power output is?
Are the fronts 6x8 or 6x9?
Center is a 3.5" or 4"?
Rears are 6.5"?
All are 4 Ohm?
Are people leaving the center and factory tweeters connected? Even when running 2/3-way coaxials?
It sounds like people like JL here. (I don't care for their subs...at all.) I used to like Polk, and know that CDT and Rainbow were good as well. I used to tend to prefer the sound of 2-way vs. the equivalent 3-way. I want to stay fairly cheap/mid range, for now.

Yes, just used the stock wiring and amp. The adapters make the speaker replacements plug and play and the stock amp drives them just fine unless you are wanting significant bass. I listen to old rock so prefer fidelity over bass.
