Simple custom touch

This was posted on Facebook, what do you think? I thought it was a simple custom touch that could have almost been factory trim.

I met a guy around here who did that to his truck. I thought it was a cool idea.

Don't come home drunk in that truck and pass out in the front seat, because when you wake up in the morning, you'll probably think you're laying on the fender.

Well, just goes to show you I don't know much about 48-52 trucks. I thought those were pieces guys were looking for. Thanks for setting me straight.

Abe, it is the five-star-extra hood trim for 51/52 that is so very hard to find. They reproduce the 'C' pieces but not the long straight stainless ones.
Almost, but not quite unobtainium.

I think putting extra pieces on the inner door is a pretty clever idea. The average person would think it came from the factory that way.

There are alot of average people out there too. That is one reason why I keep my trucks stock so average non Ford truck people can see what they looked like back in the day.
