So I moved to aftermarket wheels (Fuel Warrior) for my 2019 F350 (SRW). The wheel supplier sent free lugnuts and honestly they seem really chintzy to me. The original wheels were hub centric and had flat face lug nuts, the new wheels are lug centric and have the conical mating face.
Can anyone suggest any brand of lug nuts that are top notch on the quality side?
Just looking to have a little more piece of mind with some better hardware.
I was hoping someone who knows more than I would respond by now.... but I keep noticing your thread.
Are you saying the wheels are also lug centric? As in the wheel does not fit perfectly snug and centered before you put lugs on?
I had wheel adapters on that ran off the lugs instead of hubs on a super duty for a bit. They constantly made the truck feel unbalanced and it was ultimately incurable.
If the wheels are also hub centric, perhaps the manufacturer can give you the correct nuts for your application

Yes they are not centered until the lug nuts are torqued down. I don't have any issue with the wheels not centering up and feeling unbalanced (they do offer centering rings for that if I wanted them). I am just after some quality lug nuts.
I went with McGard myself. More expensive than others, but seem to last the longest for me - without rusting. I've heard good things about Gorilla lug nuts too, but have never tried them.
A little off subject here, but just a reminder to anyone changing over to lug centric wheels. Make sure you keep 8 oem lug nuts in the truck for the spare.
Can someone help point me to a set of lug nuts that I could get overnighted? I just realized my wheels didn't come with them and my lift goes on tomorrow, followed by wheels on Thursday if I can get them sent overnight. I need them in black.
