lifter noise
can lifter bleed off once your off Idle ?
engine is quiet at idle but develops a lifter tick at cruise rpm
new cam ... lifters ... rockers ...springs ...
all Comp cam
pulls like a freight train
400 .030 over Tmeyer pistons
252 H compcam kit
heads shaved .010 when rebuilt to clean up
standard head gasket from rebuild kit I didnt write down thickness
any ideas??????????????????

The 351C/400 had oil supply/valve guide problems problems @ intro.
Did it do this before the cam upgrade? I would contact COMP CAM TECH LINE first and research CLV engine oiling mods in the meantime..

Did you check lifter preload ? Aftermarket cams can be ground on a different base circle than the old stock cam so you should check push rod length as well. Milling heads and block will effect push rod length and preload too.
