Hi,
I was hoping that rebuilding the front end would have gotten rid of the play in the steering, not my luck, still has about 2" or so of play in the steering. Going to be installing a new not rebuilt steering gear box and pitman arm, I have two questions;
1- Pitman arm nut torque spec? I've searched and have seen anywhere from 300 to 400 ft lbs....would like to know actual
2- Does anyone know the part number for the nut?
Thanks, that's half the battle, I have a local parts place owned by Fred Beans that I have an account with that also does dealer parts at my cost so I can get the nut from them. Thanks again for the spec.
