Countershaft stuck!!!NP435

Hello all, I’m a new member here, asking all NP435 guys. My countershaft in my NP435 Ford F-100 will not spin when I put the new thrust washer on the front and fit the tabs to the grooves on the actual transmission, what’s going on? Is the washer to thick? If I completely assemble it without the thrust washer it spins freely, but if the thrust washer is put in place and I tighten it back together nothing it seizes, any ideas would be great!

NP435 pic: Where is the counter shaft? No see um...because there isn't one. You sure your trans is a NP435 and not a Warner T-18?

It is the thrust washer labeled 7119 at the lowest cluster on the left side of the schematic of the transmission, I know for a fact that it is an NP435. But everything seizes once i get it all tightened down. But if I leave the 7119 thrust washer out, it spins freely all tightened down

Not sure if it helps, but here is a link to the relevant section of the service manual...

7119 is the cluster gear thrust washer.

The front is C4TZ-7119-A ~ 2 3/4" O.D. x 1 29/32" I.D. x 5/8" thick. GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 176 = 800-543-4959.

The rear is C4TZ-7119-B ~ 1 7/8" O.D. x 1 1/4" I.D. x 1/32" thick. GREEN SALES has 37.
