Top loader assembly question
i have a question about reassembling a 3 speed top loader transmission. I receive the transmission in pieces and have the cluster gear and idler assemblies in place. Do these shafts have pins that hold them in place? Please see pictures to determine if I have the required pins. How do you get the top shaft in? I assume something has to come off the assembly that I have.

If it were me, and if I was reassembling a transmission that was in pieces, I would buy Mac Van Pelts book. That way you can be sure you have everything.
Those two pins look correct to hold the shafts. They are held in with cotter pins.
