I dropped my truck off to get the reverse and front camera looked at. They both have kind of a hazy appearance to them. Kind of like when there is a fingerprint smudge on the lens, even though they are both clean. Apparently, this is a known issue and the dealership has stocked up on the cameras to replace under warranty. They said it's no problem and they simply throw a new camera in.
Just wanted you all to know in case this is something you are dealing with.
The way you can generally tell is when you are in 360 degree mode and the side cameras are clear but either the front or rear camera is fuzzy (or slightly bleached out, kind of like looking at an overexposed image). Also, if you compare the image to another Ford and the other camera is clear.
Let us know if the new cameras are better. My rearview camera has never been good. Looks bleached out and the reverse lines are very dull and not vibrant like they are in my 2014 Optima
BIGTRICKBIGRV: Are the replacement cameras better quality?
Wicked 2018: What was wrong with your original cameras? Were they grainy at night, washed out during day and the red/green/yellow lines faint or should I say not vibrant at all?
The brightness level of the camera view is influenced by the brightness level of the dash lights. Crank up the dash lights before you take it in. My dash lights were set to a low value so the camera looked dark. I'm not completely convinced that this resolved the poor camera quality, but it looked very similar to the brand new F-150 parked next to mine on the service drive.

mine looked like there was a crack in it - when you looked closely you can see the internal/external damage. I think where this camera is located it it easy to get damaged
I just had the rear camera replaced and it made a notable difference in the view on the screen. Now the two mirror cams and the front camera are hazy also. The 360 degree image shows that the rear camera is clearer.
Are the cameras on the 360 system the same part? Anyone have a part # so we can see what they cost online? If they are so delicate that they frequently get damaged or otherwise wear out / break - curious what it'd cost to stash a few extras away for when the warranty is up.
I have the exact same issue on my front camera. Just started a few weeks ago. My rear isn't too bad but it's starting to get hazy as well. Figured I'll wait till the next service to take it in. Sorry to hear others are having the same issue!
Had my front camera replaced couple months age. Same thing. Looks like it wasn't sealed well and moisture got in making it like looking into a fishbowl.
well any updates, i am trying to get my dealer to replace my rear camera since it has always sucked compared to my 2008 F150 and sometimes it goes black.
All my cameras are hazy now, at first it was just the front, then the rear started to haze out shortly after, now about 1.5 years into ownership the two side cams are getting hazy. I haven't taken it in yet for any of them, but the front is completely unusable and the rear is getting there. I've cleaned them all and the haze remains. The front is so bad now that this morning I got an alert in the info center that I needed to clean the front camera, not sure if it means the camera near the review cam or the front grill cam. Either way I guess now is the time to take it in.
Taking mine to the shop in the morning same issue, front is not usable, rear is getting bad, sides seem ok. I think it is cause the camera's lenses are plastics instead of glass and the Texas sun turns them yellow.
