Varying Alternator Voltage

I run a digital voltmeter in my '16 Expy EL (actually in all my vehicles), just to monitor what it's doing. Does anybody else do this or have done it? My voltage varies all over the place in this car. It will bump up to about 14.2 or 14.3 typically upon start up, but rather quickly drops back to 13.2 or 13.3. Sometimes it will go back up to the 14.2-ish level, but more often it will just stay around 13.2 or 13.3. I don't use this car much, so it's only got 14k miles on it and sits on a battery tender most of the time. But, it's already had the original battery fail. No other vehicle that I monitor has this kind of voltage variation. I don't know if it's normal for the newer computer controlled systems to do this, but the older computer controlled systems do not do this. What are others seeing?

Thanks.
