The plastic protective cover on my tailgate has been rattling around. It appears that it's mostly held down with these oddball torx screws (many of them now missing), but there are also three hexagonal studs poking through the cover as well. Are there supposed to be fasteners in there? If so, does anyone know what they look like or where to get them? If not, what on earth are the studs for?
