Long Bed Flair side floor board pattern

Would anyone have the measurements for the floor boards in a long bed flare side? Mine is apart and the boards were rotted long ago. I know there are pretty simple width and length but I think they had a tapper for the strips and side flange. I'm also wondering about the dimensions of the hump in the long bed. Considering an oak kit but wondering if there are better options for a work truck that will see lots of rough duty. I haven't seen many long bed kits either.

The bed wood and the dividers are reproduced. Originally, the wood was pine and both the wood and the dividers were painted body color.

I've got a 63 f250 flairside and can take some measurements (I assume my 63 boards are the same your 65 f100?). What is the "hump" in the bed you're referring to? Also I agree in that the oak boards would be a waste if you're going to use the truck much. Depends on price but pine if it's cheaper although the pine you buy now is not as strong as the old growth stuff you could get in 1965, at least it ain't on my barn and it doesn't stand up to weather well. Treated wood will pbly last longer but not sure how it reacts with the metal straps, if at all.

Scott.

I was referring to the wheel well hump on the outside boards for the 8 foot long bed .

If you paint the oak, all 4 sides, it will take the beating , or wear better than pine. Doesn’t always have to be shiny to be effective.

The boards are three different widths center board is 9 3/8", next two out from center are 7 3/4", outside board (hump) 5 11/16". The board for the hump simply follows the contour of the lip from underneath (the side panel of the bed has a lip and this sets on top). Total length is 94 5/8" and they are 13/16" thick. It's nearly impossible to get accurate measurements with a bed full stuff (I use my slick also) and the boards I'm measuring are 45 years old so they probably have shrunk or whatnot and aren't exactly the same dimensions as day one from the factory so I would do plenty of measuring and checking fitment etc before cutting anything.
While crawling around under the thing I realized it's probably kinda rare to still have most of my original bed wood in decent shape.

Hopefully my measurements are better than my math.

True, and depending on where you buy it sometimes oak isn't much more than pine.
