Y’all what is the best way to level one of these trucks with the TTB Dana 50 axle? Yes I know the best way is to get a Dana 60 and that’s what I want to do, but I just had to put 1200 in this axle so I’d like to level it. Any suggestions would be great. I looked at sky’s 2 inch kit and I’ve looked at tuff country’s kit. Just wondering what’s the best route. Thank y’all
Only one I saw was Skyjackers, that add-a-leaf? I am sure it will work fine...my advice? Spend money on some good shocks. Bilstein 5100s worked badass on my old 4x4 F350.
Nah man, that's your grandpa's way. Just let the air out of your back tires and pump up the fronts real tight. That will get the right trim and stance. You'll be so cool you'll frost the paint on every Prius within a mile. All the other posers will want to be just like you.
What makes you think it's not level? Did you measure the ground to frame clearance, front and rear, and compare it to the Ford Body manual? Take it to the Ford dealer and they'll help.
the add a leaf will give you the height but you will have a rougher ride.
The RSK is more $$ but is a better option. I would suggest checking the condition of your current springs. If they are worn then you may need to replace them as well
How hard is the rsk to install? And my original springs are worn, but I feel like if I replace them it still won’t level it. Still might not be a bad idea to replace them either way. I’m just trying to find the best way to do this for now until later on if I get a solid axle.
