I HAVE A 2000 FORD ECONOLINE E150 4.2L V6 i HAVE A PARTIAL PART NUMBER (?65E-8509-EA) AFTER LOOKING AT OTHER SIMILAR PARTS i AM ASSUMING THAT THERE ARE 4 NUMBERS IN THE FIRST SET AND 4 NUMBERS IN THE SECOND SET FOLLOWED BY TWO LETTERS THAT BEING SAID i AM 100% SURE THAT THE SECOND SET AND LAST TWO ARE (8509-EA) THE FIRST NUMBER IN THE FIRST SET OF FOUR IS A (?) AS IS THE SECOND AND 3RD BUT THE LAST ONE IN THE FIRST SET IS DEFINITELY(E) THE PART IS BOLTED TO THE WATER PUMP WITH 4 BOLTS AND THEN THE THE COOLING FAN IS ATTACHED ON TOP OF IT i CANNOT FIND THIS PART ANYWHERE IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED
You mean the fan clutch? Check Rockauto and see if the pics match your part. Hmm just checked rockauto and those numbers don't even come close so I'm not sure what your looking at. Maybe snap a picture and post it up. I'm not seeing anything on the water pump pulley on the parts sites.
I actually found the part number but am still having trouble finding the part. The part number is E65E=8509-EA but still no one can seem to find this thing including me lol And to answer your question no not the fan clutch. to remove the part first you need to take the fan off which is simple just unscrew it counter clockwise and its off now you need to remove the four bolts holding the pulley in and then the serpentine belt will come off and that's it. I think its called a water pump pulley or a cooling fan pulley but until i can find the part I am just gonna play dumb lol
NumberDummy that info was perfect thank you so much. Is there a list somewhere of different vehicles that this same part is in? Because I have a resource here in Vegas called pick a part and if they have a vehicle that the part is in i can go get it there much faster than having to wait on snail mail. And thank you again by the way for the info that you provided it was exactly what I needed before I went completely crazy. There are two different auto parts stores (auto zone, and oriely's) with very confused employees that couldn't find this part either they were both very close but if they are like me they are still looking because it should be there but its not lol. Keep up the great work providing info to the slower of us out there because you have made my day and I'm sure many others much easier oh and more importantly now i have my vehicle back too.
