Morning world.... looks to be a nice day here in the Old Line State. 68 now and only getting to about 78 as a high. Partly to mostly cloudy. Good day to start with the leaves. Got a leaf sweeper so hopefully will be a little easier.

Ken, did more for others than for myself in the "getaway", but expended my knowledge in the computer field. Always good when you learn something new. Mostly learned that some people souldn't own a computer.

One tree directly across the street has dropped about half it's leaves...it's a maple and has always been early to drop.

Yup, my Hybrid Poplar starts in middle of August and keeps on until late November if not December. Only have 2 of those but they are HUGE trees. And the leaves are huge too. Plenty of shade. Too tall for the tree trimmers that use those buckets to trim trees !

As these poplars are!! In spring they drop sap that hardens into stone! A bitch on the car. I have to cover it for about a month.

That would drive me nuts. I have a river birch that saps every now and then, but, it's not bad, or very sticky, comes right off.

Morning Landers and fellow visitors, hope that your day is going well. Have had some trees starting to show some color for the last few weeks. The experts are saying that this year it is going to be a short foliage season and the colors are not going to be overly bright because of how wet it has been. I guess that time will tell.
