Hey John, don't know about how old your hearing aids are, but mine can be frequency adjusted so that only the speech frequencies are amplified and all the others can be lowered. You ought to think about taking them to your audiologist, have a new hearing test done and then have him/her adjust those aids. I know, I know....your closest audiologist is 1000 miles away.
