I have an issue of every now and again I go to start my 2003 f250 5.4l and it will do nothing. My starter is two years old battery is also two years old and I just changed my ignition switch. What do you think it could be?
So...when you turn the key...it doesn't crank? Could be something like a neutral safety switch, I suppose. Next time it doesn't start, maybe try shifting the transmission into gear then back to park...

Hmmmmm ok I will try that but no it doesn't crank. I hear a low but deep click like it's my starter but the starter seems to be fine.
You have a 2 year old rebuilt starter on it now? Use a test light and see if power is getting to the starter My guess is the starter is shot, take it off, get it tested.
While you're replacing those cables, make sure that you clean the grounding points really well with a wire brush or wire wheel. It should be grounding to clean, bare metal. Rust/paint is no good for grounds.
