I had mine flashed 2 days ago for the code and it fixed the problem.

Well my check engine light came back on. I went to Advanced Auto and borrowed their scanner. It's the same code P2450.
This will be the 3rd time in for that code and I've only got 350 miles on it.
I'm not feeling too happy right now.

It's an evap system fault. Could be the flap on the fuel filler not closing or a stuck solenoid. See the explanation here.

Mine hah done the same thing. I had it in again today to the dealer. They checked the wiring to the EVAP system on the tank and that checked out ok. They have more tests to run but they may need to drop the tank. I had just filled up yesterday so I'm going to have to drive for awhile to get the fuel level lower and bring it back so they can do more tests.

Sorry you fell into the minority. Good luck with the other brand, but don't think it's immune to problems. Reading the boards, you could easily be jumping out of a fire, reasonably put out by Ford, and into a new glowing bed of embers. You never know, but at least the Oval made it right.

I'm sorry to hear about the OP's issues with his Ford. Thankfully it seems that Ford is stepping up to the plate and doing the right thing.
I also wish him well with the future new Ram. I still have 4 of them in my fleet. I wish I could say that they are trouble free. However, my experience is that the grass isn't greener on the Ram side of the fence.
