I've had a few of those RAMS nothing but Problems with the MDE ( Multiple Displacement Engine ) 4, 6 ,8 who do we appreciate.

My check engine light went off before I was to go back in but it came back. It then went back out but just came on again yesterday. I only have about 1100 miles. This is getting old.

You have a code reader? 10 times out of 9, it's a leak at the fuel filler.

The last time I was in they were thinking it could be the check valve on top of the tank.

I'm going to try and get the door latch and seat belt issue taken care of when I go in.

OP, I was going to say "Well open the hood and check to see if the engine is still there", but I sympathize with you. I'm fighting an oil consumption issue still at 13,000, and it's a royal pain. I'm almost ready to dump it, too, except I'm not getting buyback offers.

Both times my check engine light came on it turned out to be the catalytic convertors . Bank 1 at about 30,000 miles and just picked it up yesterday Bank 2 46,000 miles . This is on a 2016 3.5 Ecoboost , supposedly Ford has updated the part .

Good luck with that. I've had 2 Jeep Gr. Cherokee's and 1 Dakota....... Never again will I purchase ANYTHING from FCA, Dodge, Ram, whatever you want to call them.

I had the truck in yesterday and they dropped the tank and changed out the vapor valve on top of the tank. This was after dropping the tank to do testing and find the culprit.

Hopefully no more check engine light.
