no steering wheel controls ,I'd like those back also. I thought about aftermarket but I'm afraid of losing the active markers on the backup camera
I'd think you be looking at quite a bit of work and expense to add everything for Sync. Not sure active markers are worth that. I have the markers, they just don't 'move'. I wonder if there is a FORScan setting to enable them???

No. My truck is a 2017 and didn't come with a back camera. I was able to add the Ford OEM camera and enable to my Sync. The lines weren't active with it but maybe I missed a FORScan setting. They weren't overly important to me. I recall someone posting a FORScan setting about it. Trouble is me finding it again.....

if you find the location of that in forscan ill check what mine is and let you know, do you know if the idatalink will send the active markers with the rear camera pic?
I was ready to pull the trigger on the same kenwood as yours but cruthfield says it's discontinued
The 9903 is an older model. Its available here as well as the 9904. I think the only difference is the 9904 doesn't have the HDMI input like the 9903 does.
