Thank You
It is very informative and helped me correct a problem
with my 99 Ranger. After reading the forums and even
seeing pictures I was able to conclude that my truck had
a faulty DPFE sensor. Changed it over, cleared the code
and the problem is solved! I hate to think what the dealer
would have charged for this repair. The part cost 59.99
plus tax at autozone.Once again thanks to all!
By the way my user name of 99Ranger43k is not the
mileage of the truck,it's the price I paid.(99 Ranger for 3 k)
I have a brother-inlaw in sales and it was a company truck. It is a black xlt supercab with smoked out rear windows and has a black Leer crown cap to match. The truck had 108k last year when I bought it but was well maintained. Now it is running great again thanks to the information I found here.
