'95 heater control problem

I recently purchased a 1995 Econoline 250 with a/c. The problem I am having is that the damper door control only wants to blow out of the defrost vents. I have the dash semi-apart and can not find the location of the "door". I also can see that there is vacuum and eletric controls on the selector switch. The vacuum control for the max a/c is working, as is the eletrical motor for the heater/temp control "door". I need help in diagnosing this one. Is the distribution door vacum of eletrically controlled? Where is this door and it's controls located? Thank you in advance

Hey Moss, don't know if it helps, but on my '84 the door is right after the blower under the glovebox.

Happy hunting & good luck

94 book info - Function door is vac controlled. Function door vac motor has a blue hose. No vac on blue, air heads towards defroster door. With vac on blue, Function door closes to defrost door area, and opens to the panel/floor area.

Function door is downstream from the Blend door.

FYI, Defrost Door vac motor has a yellow hose and a red hose.

Blue hose may have a tee connection to "Aux" also. Don't know what that is, maybe to a rear unit if equipped?

Aren't dash guts fun to explore?
