Doing another Sled Pull
Last year I put my truck in a street stock class and got 2nd. Truck that beat me had all of its suspension welded out and a built small block.
This year i have upped the anti a little, added 5000lb air bags to the rear, and putting on brand new duratracs 3 days before the pull. Heres the video from last year. I did low range and shifted from 1 to 2nd.
This year I plan on just starting in 2nd in low range.
I know i was on the rev limiter for awhile in 2nd gear about mid track, but as the sled came up, it did pull me down some. Has anyone ever tried 3rd gear low range for more wheel speed? Has anyone successfully downshifted while puling?
