Axle centerline
I have a 1955 f100 and I bought a mustang II kit from heidts. Not thinking I removed the cab and fenders but I think I can find the original centerline from the bump stops on the frame. I want to move my new centerline to be in the middle of the wheel well as the original is more towards the back of the wheel well. Does anyone know the exact measurements from the front of the frame to the centerline of the wheel well? I called heidts to see if the measurements in their instructions were factory centerline or not and they couldn’t really tell me. Thanks

They are different. I believe the heidts one moves the centerline forward 3/4".
