Long story short is my 1999 f350 6 speed Powerstroke HPOP started pouring oil while on vacation and had to have it replaced. It leaked 3 gallons by the time I got it to a garage. Since then I’ve noticed the clutch is slipping. Could all the oil running down the engine cause the clutch to slip? The clutch was working perfectly until this. Thanks
Yes. The 7.3 has a drain hole at the back of the valley that drains right into the bellhousing of the transmission. Sounds like it's time for a clutch.
