2001 Alternator whine

2001 Alternator whine
...SO ive had this system in my truck for nearly 10 yrs now.....Ive got a kenwood 2 channel amp powering the 2 front door speakers and latley ive been getting alternato whine. I unplug the power to the amp and plug it back in and its good for a while. Its grounded right underneath the center console where its always been. I checked it, loosened it and retorqued it down....Still same issue.....Could it be internal in the amp?
