Vintage you are correct on the truck I sometimes don't take the time to look at something like that and to quick to ad a negative comment. I don't have the skills nor would I tackle something like that. Thanks for bringing that out.
Art.
Kevin,
how confident are you those are the accurate hole spacing? I ask because I know at least one of my hoods has what seems to be those very same holes.
crap, guess I have to start shopping hood birds now!
Art,
Youbetcha.
I've watched and studied dozens of aborted crew projects as I intend to tackle it with my COE and '56 F-100. I've seen very few pull it off - rarer still to do it well!
And if you ever find yourself in a "money-better-spent-on-beer" spending spree and need help with the project, let me know!!!

I had test fitted one of my other birds. I wanted the one from the 4 door as it's in poorer condition
Not my style, but a lot of work as gone into that.
You guys got me looking closer at the pictures. I could possibly use those running boards and he needs longer ones anyway.
It's not far from me but the listing is gone.
You know, if he wanted to keep the shorts, my big truck running boards would probably work on that truck. There seems to be plenty of space between the top of the board and the cab to handle my taller sides.
Joe,
what do you refer to as your big truck running boards?
JML
They are running boards for F500 and above?? The short ones for a flatbed. Here is a picture of my F250 running boards next to the larger one. I got them all cleaned up before I realized they were too big.
They could use a good home.
