I have a 2017 F250 Lariat. It’s pretry much fully loaded. Heated/AC seats moonroof, nav power running boards etc.
The one thing it doesn’t have is the LED headlights.
How easy would it be to have these installed ? And how much ?
I dont know if its just plug and play or needs new wiring that’s why I’m asking
The easiest thing you're going to do in this is to search this forum. You will find an abundance of very thorough threads describing the conversion and the cost.
I installed Beamtechs in heads and fogs. Cheap from Amazon, plug and play with no issues. Very bright, but have not really driven with them in the dark yet as it's still not very dark here until about 11:00 PM and it's already daylight well before 7:00 AM.
I would maybe wait and see how the morimoto lights turn out. Think they are due for release in November? I think they are similar priced to factory but they promise better lighting and plug and play install.

Anything I've read on this forum sounds like you're looking at the $3k neighborhood to go to factory LED with the lighted "C". And it's not plug & play, there's some wiring changes and possibly a BCM adjustment with FORScan if I remember correctly. If I don't remember correctly, someone please point that out so I'm not steering him wrong.
There's a whole thread titled Budget LED Headlights that I started many months ago. Long story short, many of us have gone with Beamtech LED headlight bulbs from either Amazon or eBay. Relatively inexpensive and a good result. I've since switched out every other light on the truck to LED also. Kind of a mixed bag of suppliers. Some Beamtech (headlights and fog lights), Headlight Revolution (reverse lights), Alla (switchback parking/front turn signal), SuperBright LED (tail/brake/rear turn) and some Amazon off brand T10 (194) for license plate lights.
Here's and example of OEM -
Look at the ANZO head lights. I am not a fan of the factory led strip all the way around the light. That was the reason I didn't get the factory lights. There are cheaper options out there.

Yes, it`s a pricey thing to do after the fact but you just can`t go wrong with the OEM LED headlights.

Of course look are all very subjective, but I agree. If I was going to convert the whole shooting match, the OEM complete unit looks the best for my money. But that being said, my money isn't going there!
I upgraded to the OEM headlights and taillights on my Lariat and I couldn't be happier. I found an awesome deal on eBay for the package that came with everything needed for the conversion. It wasn't too bad, it cost me around $2200CDN for everything and I followed JMEO's guide here on the forums. Complete "How To" Halogen to Led Heads and Tails

Yes there are other options out there. BUT are they Legal. Have an accident at night and you may find yourself with someone such as myself who will be putting you in harms way financially AND better make sure that your insurance policy will still cover you in the event of litigation. Keep this in mind.
May also impact your trade in someday as if the Dealer sells this with illegal lights then they are liable.

Agree with this Dave. Definitely DO NOT sell or otherwise dispose of your OEM gear if you foresee a trade someday in your future. Dealers like to see trucks as close to stock for the most part. They can get parts they need through their own network if something goes wrong down the line that they need to stand behind.
I had an older tonneau cover and a not very old aftermarket head unit in my last truck. They wanted the cover but asked me to swap the stock radio back in before I brought the truck in to pick up my new one. Since I always buy the correct harness and kits if I do this it was quick and painless. No cut/spliced wires to untape and fudge back together.

Hey Brendan - $2200 CAD shipped? That's a damn good price. Dealer today told me $2200CAD+tax per light!
Where'd ya order em from that ships to us in the great white north?
I went with Headlight Revolution, I contacted them and without exception everyone I spoke with there was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I replaced all bulbs with their suggested bulbs, (ie. headlights, front turn signal / DRL, taillights, side markers, fog lights, license plate lights), and could not be happier.
Warning, their prices are much higher than some replacement bulbs at other places, but I can tell you that I believe that the quality of their items, and of course the amount of light emitted IMO is greater than the cheaper price and most likely cheaper quality found elsewhere.

Correct, they are bulbs, but they are LED bulbs, and I believe they are as bright or possibly brighter than "regular LED's". FWIW, I think it looks good and is a easy, inexpensive (relative to "real LED's) cost.
