Mine does the same thing. I either have a bad ICP or a bad connection/pigtail/wire that’s intermittent
I will do this! Thanks!

When it stumbles it just skips a little and the RPMs drop very quickly just a little bit. The RPMs used to fluctuate up and down but now when it acts up it stumbles. It’s hard to hear on the video but you can hear that skip, it doesn’t seem like the engine is going to stop because it recovers the idle rhythm so quickly and lasts just for a short period.

I unplugged and then re-plugged in the ICP sensor last night. I will report back if it does or doesn’t happen again!

Leaving the ICP unplugged should also get rid of the stumble IF that is the issue

No stumble this morning or during my drive at lunch. I will report back when/if it comes back! If it doesn’t return, then unplugging and re-plugging in the ICP sensor took care of it. Time will tell. Thanks all for your help.

Mine would do this when the oil would get old, around 5K mikes. I used to change it at 7K, with an oil analyst. My fix, change the oil at 5K miles, I use Mobil 1 TDT and Mobil Delvac both 5w-40. I have 180,000 miles 05 F250.

This is an interesting point. I was running Rotella 15W-40 conventional oil and it started when I was at the very end of a 5,000 mile change, and on this oil run I had towed probably 1,500 miles, so I thought to myself "uh oh, I better change the oil." Well, I then switched to 5W-40 synthetic Rotella and only have maybe 1,500 miles on this oil change so I wonder if something was happening with the injectors and dirty oil and maybe it just took a while to clean up?
Anyhow, I have not had any more issues but I will report back either way!

I just posted an issue that sounds just like yours. When mine misses or stumbles at idle as you call it. It puffs dark smoke that smells like burned plastic to me. It doesnt happen all the time. Its intermittent. It's actually stalled on me twice. But started right up. Started a few days ago. I unplugged the icp and replugged...see if that helps me...

Keep us posted. Mine doesn't puff any dark smoke and hasn't stalled, but others have posted ICP issues so let us know about yours.
