I got this from a buddy at work. He isn't mechanically inclined....said it needs a steering coloum and you have to shift it under the truck. Doesn't run. 300ci auto 2wd. 500 bucks. Been sitting over a year. I went out and turned the key, heard fuel pump and guages moved but no starter action. Jumped the solenoid and it started. Looked under the dash at the shifter and found this. Shifted it in to a drive gear and then released the park brake and it drove onto the trailer. Once on the trailer I couldn't find reverse or park.
I have no plans and don't know what I want to do with it.
Alright, I got a parts truck for the next phase of this little trucks life. Axles, springs, drive shafts and transfer case is about all I'll be using. I have to go to Prairie Grove, Arkansas to get it so if anyone needs parts from it I'll be passing through on Wednesday towards St Louis.
Just a hint on the plans......it's NOT going to be a mud machine.
I threw a battery in this parts truck and it fired right up. Locked the hubs and shifted in to 4wd and drove it onto the trailer. Could not have gone easier. The v10 van is getting 10mpg in the hills and moving along good at close to 21,000lbs
Made it home. 48 hour run. I was going to use my 2wd dually to go get it but the kids wanted to go too so we took the van. First time I pulled heavy with it and it may become my new tow rig.
