I have searched and have not found the definition of feature codes listed on my build sheet. The one I am most interested in figuring out is the code DYAAF - Heavy Duty Front Suspension. Does anyone know what that actually means? I.e. spring rates, ride height....???? I find it kind of frustrating that Ford seems to provide little info with some of these codes. Does anyone have an idea where I can look to figure this out?
HD is one selection higher than standard spring. So it most likely will be the 5600lb capacity front spring. I'd personally order the snowplow/camper option if it were me
My spring codes are VVPP - I saw a post that showed "V" code as 4800#. If that is correct what is HD about the front suspension? Maybe the build list is wrong. Also, what rating is code "P".
The shocks are a week old, Monroe Gas-Magnum, and the fronts at 70psi. Unfortunately the tire pressure nanny kicks in if I go any lower. I just towed the trailer for the first time and it settles the suspension down pretty good but the crappy Colorado roads we have still make for some occasional bone jarring.
