spring codes

Question?
What are w-code springs?.Are they for F-250,
and can I use them on my excursion 4x4

super duty spring codes start with s and end with x s is softest and x is stiffest yes they will work on an x

But they will lift the front of the X about 2.65 inches in the front. I would suggest gettin a f-350 4 in block to replace your 2 in block in the rear. I have V codes and am getting X codes in two weeks.
W code is f-450 springs i think??

Where do you find this code? Is it in the VIN or is it on the springs themselves?
