2011 F-350 electrical problems M
In February I had my DEF heater replaced. Shortly afterwards I began having electrical problems. Almost always the first thing is the A/C fan stops. Then the dash display goes black. Sometimes the key alarm chimes or the door locks click. Sometimes gauges go off. Sometimes all of them happen. Usually only lasts a few seconds. Sometimes does it over and over. Truck always runs fine. I’ve been taking it to the same Ford service for the last 5 months. They have replaced both alternators. Both batteries. Module door lock. Instrument cluster. And finally PCM...I still have all the same problems. Anyone else have this? Does anyone have any idea what I can do? My truck is. 2011 F-350 Lariat with a 6.7 diesel. I only have about 67,000 miles on it. Thank you for any ideas or advice.

I love my truck but the extended warranty company said they are done because it sounds like the Ford service department is just "throwing parts" at my truck. Between the extended warranty and me we have spent many thousands of dollars trying to fix the random electrical shorting. My wife and I travel a lot and we are planning to see our daughter (who lives 16 hours away) in about a week. My dream truck has been a nightmare for the last 5-6 months as well as a money pit. If anyone has any idea what might help I would sure appreciate it. The nearest Ford dealer is an hour away and it seems like Ford can't figure it out anyway. I can't believe I'm the only person with a Ford pickup who has had this problem. After seven years of payments we finally paid it off last month...The Ford Service Department I was taking it too has given up. Their advice is to trade it in. I don't want more payments right now. Someone please help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
