Need help! 1966 f250 drum brake

hello, trying to change shoes on my 66 f250. Had broken return spring and shoe retainer spring. Anybody switched to disc and want to sell me some parts. Shoe retainer has bent hooked nail instead of straight through retainer plate. I’ll include photo. Can’t find part at auto parts or yard. Thanks! Norcalhal

Those curved nails are for the 12" x 2 1/2" brakes typically found on the 1966 F250 2WD with 7,500 lbs GVWR or the Camper Specials.

The other size used on the 1966 F250 (typically the lighter GVWR trucks and the F250 4WD) is the 12 1/8" x 2" brakes which used the straight nails.

There were some exceptions as with most things.

I see NOS ones by the bucket load on ebay. They seldom sell.
