another tranny question

For all those who chime in regularly like myself, you might know that I am in the process of converting from a 2wd. to a 4wd. I was wondering if I could install a 4x4 C-6 /t-case combo in my 95 F-150? Currently it has a 300 I-6, and a mazda 5 spd. If I could get a C-6 that was small block pattern, How hard would it be to install it into my truck? Is there vacuum lines like chevy that run from the modulator valve? Could a flour shifter be installed in a set up like this? any help with this matter would be especially appreciated! Thanks Danny.

I think a C6 would be a pretty easy swap. Yes, there is a vacumn line to manifold vacumn. A floor shifter should be an easy project.

another tranny question

I had a 1980 E-100 with an I-6 which was converted from manual to C-6 by the previous owner. He put in a floor shifter with a cable linkage. The cable linkage eventually broke and I bought and installed a four speed manual shifter and created a rod linkage to shift the trans. It's been a while but I think the C6 modulator was hooked up to a vacuum tee on the distributor but I may be wrong. R.A.
