Bought a 91 roller a few weeks back and intend on dropping a motor into it this weekend. Looking for help or pictures on the accessories and how the link up. Already have a manual and that is a bit of help, but checking to see if people have pictures of there engine bay. One of those weird, I didn’t take it apart, but I’m trying to put it back together situations. As for the the emissions, I really want to keep the EGR, but i believe the smog will be going away because of the long tube headers and custom exaust. Any help would be appreciated, especially if anyone has bolt lengths etc. long story short, had a completely rebuilt motor with a carb set up, and now it’s being dumped into an Efi.
You bought a ‘91 roller cam engine or did you buy a ‘91 rolling chassis? You are taking out the carbureted what and this is going into what year and model truck? Maybe it’s just me but I don’t know what you have and what you are asking.
Sorry, wasn’t exactly clear. The truck is a 91 f150 that I bought with no motor. I had rebuilt a 302 planning on doing something older, but this truck fell in my lap for practically no money. I’ve got the Efi top end installed, and I’m ready to dump the motor in the truck, but like I said, it’s a little weird trying to put something back together that you didn’t take apart.
