What did you do to your Superduty today? 2019 version

New Lug Nuts.
So when I ordered my aftermarket wheels they came with free lug nuts. I was very unhappy with them, they almost strip themselves when you torque them to 165ftlbs. (When I removed them today they were tight all the way off, but the new spun on easily indicating the nuts were damaged, and threads on the truck studs were fine)
Anyway I did a bunch of research and came to Mcgard, or Gorilla lug nuts. Ended up going with Mcgard as I saw some bad reviews on the Gorilla. I also like the Mcgard are made int he USA. Cheapest place I found them was Xtreme Diesel Performance, I got 32 lug nuts for $65 shipped. Use promo codeIESEL10
I went with the Mcgard 64021, they are the correct thread, cone seat for aftermarket wheels, and plenty deep for our long truck studs. Very happy with them. (They also make bulge cone, and black finish if you want that, but are more $, and in my application you cant see them when covered with the center cap)
Anyone still running the "free lug nuts" that came with their aftermarket wheels, this $65 upgrade will give you piece of mind.
Other postive, they accept a 13/16 socket which is the same as factory, so the same tools that remove the factory hardware remove these. (remember to keep 8 of your original flat seat lug nuts in the truck,
in the event you need to throw on the spare)

Installed BD Diesel high idle
Finally gotvareund to installing BD Diesel high idle kit.
Fairly straightforward. Would have been a piece of cake, had Ford sprung for 6”-8” more wire on the blunt cut pass-throughs..... 😡
Used UpFitter #4 for trigger.
Put dial on an alum bracket I made inside upper glovebox.

Over the last month or so I've added platinum wheels, 295/65R20 Ridge grapplers, window tint, clear bra, amp rear step, air bags and gatorback mud flaps. Next is a 2wd air damn and raising the side steps. Want a leveling kit but since I tow a heavy toy hauler i don't know that I'm going to change anything suspension wise.

It is a product made by Builtright industries. It enables you to mount different brackets to hold a GPS, phone mounts, TPMS, rear camera etc. Google it and type in Ford F250 dash tray bracket. Many links to it. One video will show you how to pull the tray out and install the bracket. I just took it one step further and put power ports up there too. Allot less mess on the dash.

Very nice. I saw this yesterday and thought it was a great idea. So i did my best impersonation of it with the little info i had. I created it myself to print on my 3d printer to make my own. it will be plastic and not steel, but i think it will work. I'll give it a test print tonight. I'll be putting my new Edge Insight CTS2 on it that i just got in the mail this morning.
