By Brett Foote

If you like your vintage pickups clean, classy, and sitting on the ground, this stellar 1940 Ford is for you.

That's a beautiful truck, they did a nice job. The '37 passenger car headlights look great on it

Lots of great work and talent went into this, just not my cup of tea. Pick it up off the ground.

As for me I always take the factory leaf springs and add a few so it sits a little higher than stock. I tend to overload them sometimes. Not sure why someone would want a pickup set up like the one in this thread. That's ok, it's a free country and I'm glad about that!

I'm reasonably certain that this is sitting on air bags. No one could drive it at that level.

LOL, That would be cool to rip through the gravel pit while the pickup is lying on the frame.

It would be interesting to see its ride height. It could come in handy for someone who has trouble getting in and out of their truck.

I like it a lot, but then I could own one of everything. Glad I don't have the money or room. The kids are worried about what I will leave behind as it is.

It might be a little late notice but these types of vehicles will be in Evansville Indiana this weekend for the annual Frog Follies. One of the largest street rod shows in the country. Pretty good swap meet too.

Anyone needing any interior, bed or engine compartment ideas, I’ll be glad to take pictures. There’s plenty of flatheads running around down there.
