Is Rat 3 to T19 swap possible on a budget?

What would actually need to be done for this? Truck has already been converted to floor shift, already converted to hydraulic clutch using the bellhousing of I think a T18, what else should be done? Custom driveshaft? Swap crossmembers? More centered hole in floor pan for shifter? (The linkage shifter for the rat transmission favors the left side of the floor pan). Also, will the speedo hook up the same? I know the gear ratios are the same for 3rd on the rat and 4th on the T19 but that's not why I want to do this swap. The linkage for the shifter is sloppy and I pull a trailer often so I would like to have that low gear. Already have the transmission laying around also.

It should bolt up. But you may need a taller floor pan.. cross member is a question mark. Drive shaft will need to be matched up. Your 3 speed has a slip yoke with a 1 piece drive shaft right? Check the tail on the 4 speed. I doubt it's a match.

Yeah it will definitely bolt up, I'm actually using the bellhousing of a t18 I think. I was worried I'd need a higher floor pan... that's gonna be the hard part. And no the drive shaft is a 2 piece with carrier bearing. I'm thinking the crossmember will work I guess the only way to find out is to just try it. Hopefully it won't be too hard a process.
