Need help spending $$$ at Summit Racing
All right guys, I've got a real dilema on my hands! I need to spend my $15 certificate at Summit Racing before it expires in 3 weeks! When I bought my Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks from them, not only did Summit have the best price, but they gave me an unexpected $15 off my next order as a welcome gift. Well, it's been sitting in my desk waiting for me to figure out how to spend! Since I can't come up with anything, I thought I'd turn to my friends here.
I know $15 won't buy much (nothing I want anyway), so I'm willing to put some cash out of pocket, too. Not too much -- not the right time for buy a $250+ billet grill, but I can drop an extra $50 or $100 if I need to. So please help me figure out what to put it on!!! I don't like losing free money, so remember I have to spend this within the next 3 weeks. Also keep the budget in mind.
The truck is a 2003 F-250 SC LB 5.4 V-8 Lariat. It already has husky front & rear mats, molded husky mud guards, 304 stainless lighted bumper markers, 5' Line of Fire LED light bar under the tailgate, tonneau, bed liner, Ventvisors trimmed in chrome, rear bumper mounted driving lights, organizer, chrome plate covers, and a few things I'm forgetting.
But these are more costly than what I want to spend now. Need to think about something cheaper for the time being... like I said, I don't want to add more than $50 - $100 out of pocket to the $15 certificate.
No plans for a chip anytime; regular gas is expensive enough, don't want to start paying for high octane. As far as K&N goes, I've read too much about their pitfalls - not worth the risk to me. I have gloves already (Iron Clads -- love them). Not looking to beef the tranny any more since I don't tow. A good maintenance schedule with Mobil1 Synthetic ATF is all the protection I need for now.
Thanks for the responses so far. Keep 'em coming guys...
