Hi Folks, Looking for a 2013 or 2012 e-150 with power steering, power locks with low miles. Does anyone know what this rail system is called and where I can get one? I don't know what the metal uprights are called. Been searching for a bit and can't find them.....
The vertical metal pieces are wall stiffeners commonly found in utility vans that may be outfitted with roof racks. The wooden rails are likely something added by a PO, my van had the metal supports but since it was owned by a glass company it has angled racks attached on each side.
Tried to find those. No soap. Everything else of course. Those are very common, or were at least, with the 1x4 wood added horizontally also common.
Maybe you can adapt e-track, vertical and horizontal, or the ever-popular combo. Don't forget L track as well. I used 1/2" plywood, lovingly cut into contour with my trusty dumpster find jig saw. Sure, you have all the rest of the summer to work on this.
