I installed the Crown Vic IFS in my ‘66. I plan to completely do away with the ABS. Is there a plug or something I need to install where the ABS connects to the brake system?
Are you talking about the wheel hub bearing ABS sensor as pictured below? I plan to cut / unplug the wires going into the back for now. I am currently prepping my 65 for the install but before i install my CV, I plan to find a remove/replace the unit with an alternative solution.
I would think if you are only using the IFS and not the full brake system with ABS computer then you don't have anything to hook the wires to so what's the worry?
Now if you are doing a full CV frame swap using the CV computer then why not keep the ABS?

I looked at it briefly at the shop tonight..depends on how the unit / puck can be taken off..i might have a friend of mine machine 2 caps...kind of like wheel bearing grease caps but with some type of positive retainer / lock screw. I will keep you informed and if you want a set it will be a bro deal. I will look at the disassemly tomorrow night and have a better idea of what can be done.
