It should have abs. It has been standard equipment for quite some time. You either have a RWABS or 4WABS system......an ABS light will illuminate when you turn your key to start the truck.

there should be two cords going down around the front a arms if you have 4wabs.. one is the brake line full of brake fluid...and the other will be a small wire that goes to the wheel hub... it should be the same on both sides of the front of the truck...

Then if I follow that logic, there should be a wire going to each of the rear brake back plates if it is only RWABS.
If I do not see wires in the front or the rear brakes I should assume that I do not have ABS.
no, there is only one on the rear diff housing...on the top...your rear brakes act as one... solid axle.... RWABS is completely stupid... the point of abs is to not lock up your brakes so you can stomp on the brakes and still steer...but with RWABS you will still just slide in a straight line...

Thank you for your help, I will get under the truck tonight and check it out. I don't recall seeing a wire going to the front hub.
It normally runs between the the to upper a arm mounts and snakes down to the hub...it will be between the hub and the rotor gaurd... you actually have to take the rotor off and gaurd to get the sensor out....
