viper 790xv remote start....

I just purchased a Viper 790xv which has remote startand had a couple of questions. First off, I have a 02 f-250 4x4 CC. I am planning to install this myself; what is needed for the remote start to work? I was reading a little through forums and heard something about a bypass module, what is this? Do I need it?........

viper 790xv remote start....

The bypass should just be for those trucks with chips in there keys (PATS SP?) Since yours isn't a diesel there shouldn't be any bypass that comes to mind.

okay...so is the bypass the unit that is supposed send a signal to something telling it that there is a key in the ignition? Isn't there something you have to get for all cars/trucks to install a remote start?
