Factory shock sensor?

So I searched but you could imagine keyword "shock" would return a ton of results.

I just purchased my first 18 F250 6.7DSL and realized I have perimeter..aka motion sensor with factory alarm but from what I understand there is no shock sensor? If that's correct does anyone know of a DIY for 17 and up to install a aftermarket shock sensor?

Much appreciated.

I'd be interested in a Ford part number for 2018 shock sensor as well. Thx!

I was actually talking about adding a shock sensor module from aftermarket company for like $30 bucks.

This guy has several videos and in one he adds stinger dual shock sensor. I know it's probably a simple tap into certain wires.

I looked at the same when I first started looking. I called and talked to the guy about the install which sounded simple. I just wasn't comfortable cutting into the factory wiring harness. So went with the plugin unit. It was 5-minute install.

So how good is the stock shock sensor? Bag on window or side of truck and it sets it off? Adjustable sensitivity?

Yes, a small hit to the window or door and it will blow the horn once to let you know. Hit it again or hit it hard enough and it will go off. There is a sensitivity adjustment also.
