Next up: Blend door

Yep, the blend door for the heat/AC. It is behind the glove box and of course it filled up with water in the flood. I have a new one ready to go but fortunately the old one is stuck in the open or closed position, dunno which one, so my AC works great. We were in Australia last winter so the truck was parked the entire time here in Missouri, no heat required. Wife (the Australian) says we are gonna have heat in the truck this winter or else so I'll keep her happy or risk getting clobbered with a boomarang. Looks like an easy replacement. Anyone replace one of those?

Finally got the new blend door actuator installed so now I have heat in Little Red. Yayyy me! It was a really simple job btw. Basically a long flat screwdriver to pop the actuator from the pins then plug in the new one to adjust the shaft to the correct orientation, then pop it into place. Checked it a few times cold to hot and everything is good. I think I'll replace the stereo next. I have an old Dual head unit I originally bought for my Freightliner and a dash install kit for the Ranger. The speakers were replaced long ago with poly cones so hopefully they survived.
