Exhaust leak fix help

Hi,

I have an exhaust leak on the driver side. See pictures of the small hole. Anyone try putting some (see amazon link of jb 37901) hi-temp jb weld for this? Replace the piece may be a challenge due to rusty nuts/bolts.

Looks like the hole is in the heat shield. Are you hearing an exhaust leak?

any type of JB or liquid metal is going to be an Epoxy base.. So it will burn at 400 degrees. They use to make a "furnace cement" that was more like thin-set or mortar mix.. that might work better..... Normally on exhaust systems you need to put a circular clamp over the hole, or replace the pipe.

Use exhaust putty, it's made to take that kind of heat.
