Transmission

I drive a 2008 Ford F-250 6.4 diesel twice I have tried to come up Brianhead hill once with a small trailer the 2nd time without each time the trans went into a over rev and would not climb the hill Ifinally went into tow/haul and made it is this normal or is there something wrong with the transmission

it is not normal. You need to have some diagnostics competed. It should just perform normally.
